Checking In!

Summer is winding down, school is back in session, and the holidays are right around the corner. Life may seem a bit overwhelming right now, but don’t let stress win! 

Take a few moments each day to do a check-in with yourself: How did you sleep? Has your appetite changed? What about your motivation levels? If you notice any red flags, it may be time to make some changes in your life.

Here are a few ways you can care for yourself:

  • Social detox–remove social media apps from your phone, or limit your scrolling time.
  • Get outside for a walk or run.
  • Treat yourself to a date– check out a new bookshop, go see a movie, or grab some dessert and stroll through the park.
  • Journal–buy yourself a nice notebook and pen so you can write down all your thoughts and feelings. 

Just remember, it’s okay to not be okay. Do your best to stay ahead and check in with yourself.
